The Frozen Sailor

The Frozen Sailor Beechey Island, Canadian Arctic. 1984. Researchers dug into the permafrost. They found John Torrington, dead since 1846. His blue eyes were still open. His skin was still soft. He had been buried 138 years and looked asleep.
