Archaeologists discovered a 2,000-year-old Roman fast food restaurant in Pompeii with intact food still in the pots when Mount Vesuvius erupted.

Pompeii's ancient fast food restaurant still had food cooking. The thermopolium was serving lunch when Vesuvius erupted. Duck, goat, pig, and fish bones remain in pots. Wine jugs were found half-empty on counters. Customers' meals were preserved for 2,000 years.
