The Ice Maiden

The Ice Maiden In September 1995, climbers near Peru's Mount Ampato spotted a bundle in the ice. Inside was an Inca girl, aged 12 to 15. She had been sacrificed around 1450 AD. A single blow to the skull killed her. Her body sat frozen at 20,700 feet for 500 years.
