They took fingerprints from a 2,300-year-old corpse π©Έ . . . On April 26, 1952, peat cutters near Grauballe, Denmark uncovered a man buried in a bog around 290 BCE. His throat had been slit ear to ear. The peat had tanned him like leather β his hair was still red, his stubble intact, and his fingerprints were legible enough that Danish police were able to record them.
