The Orange Peel Bobby Leach went over Niagara Falls in a steel barrel in 1911. He lived. He toured the world bragging about it. Then in 1926, in New Zealand, he slipped on an orange peel on the sidewalk. The leg got infected. They amputated it. He died anyway.
