Cocaine was sold as a toothache cure for children. 🦷 . . . Lloyd Manufacturing Co. of Albany, New York sold 'Cocaine Toothache Drops' from 1885 for 15 cents a package. The label promised an 'instantaneous cure' and showed two kids playing in a garden. Parents rubbed it straight onto the gums of children as young as four.
