The Dog Who Walked Upright Oklahoma City, 2002. Faith was born with a deformed front leg. The vet recommended euthanasia. Jude Stringfellow refused. At 7 months, her front leg was amputated. She taught Faith to hop with peanut butter. Then to balance. Then to walk upright. Faith visited wounded veterans in military hospitals. She walked like a human for 12 years.
