The Dog Who Owned the Docks

The Dog Who Owned the Docks Paddy arrived in Wellington in 1928. He never had one owner. Taxi drivers pooled money for his license. Sailors smuggled him aboard ships. He flew on a Gypsy Moth biplane. When he died in 1939, traffic stopped for his funeral.
