The Popsicle was invented by an 11-year-old who forgot his drink outside. πŸ₯€ . . . In 1905, Frank Epperson of San Francisco left a wooden stick in a cup of powdered soda mix on his porch. A rare overnight freeze locked it solid. He waited 18 years to patent it in 1923 β€” first calling it the 'Epsicle,' then relenting when his own kids kept begging 'Pop, sicle!' Today Unilever sells around 2 billion a year.
