Ken Allen escaped the zoo three times in one summer. 𦧠. . . The San Diego Zoo orangutan slipped out on June 13, July 29, and August 13, 1985. Instead of attacking anyone, he calmly toured the grounds and examined other animals. Keepers eventually discovered he had been hiding his escape method from them.
