Dindim crossed the ocean to revisit the man who saved him. 🐧 . . . In 2011, João Pereira de Souza, a retired bricklayer, found the oil-covered penguin on Ilha Grande off the coast of Rio de Janeiro and nursed him for 11 months. Dindim eventually returned to sea—but repeatedly came back after months away. The wild penguin apparently decided one human belonged on his migration route.
