You could taste the paint that made your jaw fall off. ☢️ . . . From 1917, women at US Radium in Orange, NJ were told to lip-point brushes tipped in radium paint — 'like a lipstick.' Their teeth loosened, their jaws crumbled, one worker's spine collapsed to 4 inches shorter. Their bodies are still radioactive 100 years later.
