A Pringles can became its designer’s urn. 🥔 . . . Fredric J. Baur patented the curved-chip container in 1970 and remained proud of it for decades. After he died at 89 on May 4, 2008, his children bought an Original-flavor can and placed some of his ashes inside. The package designed to preserve chips ended up preserving its designer.
