The Cat Three Navies Couldn't Drown May 27, 1941. The Bismarck sinks. A black-and-white cat is plucked from the wreckage. British sailors name him Oscar. Five months later, his new ship HMS Cossack is torpedoed. Three weeks after that, HMS Ark Royal goes down too. They renamed him Unsinkable Sam and sent him ashore.
