A Crusader has been mummifying in a Dublin crypt for 800 years. ⚰️ . . . Beneath St. Michan's Church, the dry crypt air preserves the dead. Visitors were once allowed to shake 'The Crusader's' leathery hand for luck. In February 2019, vandals broke in and stole his head. It was recovered weeks later.
