The Frisbee's designer became a Frisbee after death. 🥏 . . . Ed Headrick designed the modern professional flying disc and patented its raised rings in 1966. After he died on August 12, 2002, aged 78, part of his cremated remains was mixed into plastic and molded into memorial discs for relatives and sold publicly. His final flight was built into the product he helped perfect.
