The Last Salute

The Last Salute Bretagne was a golden retriever from Cypress, Texas. At age two, she searched Ground Zero for ten days. She worked Katrina, Rita, and Ivan. She was the last surviving 9/11 search dog. On June 6, 2016, she was too sick to continue. Firefighters lined the walkway to the vet. Every one of them saluted as she passed.
