Kleenex was never meant for your nose. π€§ . . . Kimberly-Clark launched it in 1924 as 'Kleenex' β a disposable cold-cream remover sold to women at vanity counters. A 1930 consumer survey found buyers were blowing their noses in them anyway. The company scrapped its own advertising and let the customers rename the product.
