A theme park just opened in Zhuhai, China — and almost none of the staff are human. People's Daily reports that the world's first large-scale robot theme park soft-opened at the Chimelong Spaceship Park in Hengqin on Sept 21, 2026, featuring more than 300 humanoid robots across 100+ visitor experiences. Guests are checked in by robots, guided by robots, serenaded by robots — and can even compete against them at ping-pong. The park's robotic fleet is expected to top 1,000 by year's end.
