The 2,400-Year-Old Murder On May 8, 1950, Danish peat cutters found a body. They called the police. The face looked peaceful, almost asleep. Detectives arrived expecting a recent crime. He had died around 2,400 years ago. The noose was still around his neck. His final porridge was still in his stomach.
