A surgeon was killed by the elevator inside his own hospital. πŸ₯ . . . On August 16, 2003, Dr. Hitoshi Nikaidoh, a 35-year-old surgical resident at Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, stepped into an elevator that malfunctioned. The doors closed on his torso and the car rose. His body was found on the third floor. His head remained in the elevator with a nurse who survived.
