Flight attendant Vesna Vulović, 23, was pinned inside a section of the fuselage that plummeted 10,160 meters and struck a frozen, snow-covered hillside. She woke up 27 days later in a hospital, paralyzed from the waist down at first, but eventually walked again. She lived until 2016.
